Record book, 1818-1873, bulk 1868-1873.

This book contains records from three separate businesses: the Frankfort and Shelbyville Turnpike Company; the farm of A. Julian; and Lewis Morton & Sons, merchants of Frankfort, Kentucky. The turnpike records include minutes, lists of stockholders and directors, and some accounts. The remainder of the book contains a mixture of farming records kept by Julian and accounts from a general store run by the Mortons. The farming records predominate and include accounts of help hired for plowing, livestock bought and sold, and rent collected for a cabin on the farm.
